Manufactured from high quality stainless steel, the hinge is designed for high performance on all window types and sizes. The pointed sash arm and nylon end cap together provide an excellent gasket compression and smooth engagement. Complete with a 10 year manufacturer’s mechanical guarantee.Rigorously tested in accordance with BS EN 13126-6:2008 and BS 6375-1:2009 to ensure maximum carrying weights in maximum size windows meet the criteria for lasting safe performance of the stay. The anthracite grey end cap and nylon components enhances the look of the stay in a window.Horizon friction stays can be fitted to all types of casement window including PVCu, Aluminium and Timber. The hinge meets the corrosion requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 4 (240 hours) and the performance requirements of BS6375-1:2009 and has been cycle tested in excess of 25,000 cycles of opening and tested to BS EN 13126-6.
